At Biel, Magnus Carlsen was slowed down yesterday, as he had a draw with black against Morozevich. Alexi Shirov was able to score a victory from Caruana. Standings after three rounds are Carlsen 7, Morozevich 5, and Shirov 4. Today is a rest day. Watch out tomorrow as Carlsen is back with white against Caruana.

The Dortmund Chess Meeting is underway with today's big match featuring Kramnik - Ponomariov (KID). Also the young guns are playing Giri-Nakamura (QGD).

In Ningbo, CHN the 5th round of the World Team Championship finished earlier today. Armenia has taken sole possession of 1st place with 8/10 match points, followed by Russia and Hungary with 7. Four rounds left to go.
